My new addiction

My new addiction comes from Latin America, is ground into powder and you can buy it (almost) on the street in South East London. Unfortunately, I've got myself a fairly pricey habit; fortunately, it's coffee I'm referring to. In particular, Monmouth coffee. It's like no other coffee I've tasted, the shop in Borough Market frequently makes the 'best coffee in London' lists and unfortunately for my wallet, I walk past a shop that sells Monmouth coffee every day on my way to work, and have so far drank about 100 flat whites in the past month.

I made a beeline for the shop at the weekend, deciding if we're going to have coffee at home, it's going to be top notch. The man at the bean counter and I talked through what I wanted from my coffee and I settled on the Finca Las Nubes from Guetemala. It's a slightly sweet, dark roast coffee that stands up to me making it into latte in my cafetiere. So far today I've drank half a litre and am now totally wired. It's good stuff.
